The First Memory of Shanti
It was a cool April night in Prescott. I was heading to the club Malarkey’s. I arrived there to stand outside in the usually crowded line to get into the only club in Prescott. After getting inside I scoped out the floor to find a couple of chicks to dance with so I proceeded around to the other side of the club. Walking down the side of the dance floor patrolling for babes, I saw the one hot girl standing along the wall. Thinking nothing of it I kept walking to the other side to see if I could find someone worthy of asking to dance. No-one peeked my interest so I headed back to sit with my pals, and as I walked back that same hot girl was still standing alone along the wall. I walked up to her standing next to her along the wall not saying a thing all the while wondering how I should ask her to dance but I was also thinking she would turn me down. Then I told myself "what's the worst that could happen" and thinking she would tell me no and I would continue on my journey. So instead of asking her to dance I asked her why she was not dancing. Being so loud in there she mistook what I had said and looked up at me with her pretty smile and sparkly makeup and said ok. So with no hesitation I took her hand and proceeded on to the dance floor. I ended up dancing with her the rest of the night until the club closed. I walked her back to her car and I asked her for her number and her name again to make sure I heard it correctly. She gave me her number and her name Shanti. That was the first memory that I have of Shanti and I have been with her ever since that cool night in Prescott.
